Storytelling Against Extremism: How Insights From Narrative Persuasion Research Can Improve Digital P/CVE Narrative Campaigns

In this modus Insight Report, Linda Schlegel examines how existing research insights on high quality storytelling and narrative persuasion can be used to improve counter- and alternative narratives (CANs) against extremism. She shows that narrative persuasion research provides both a much-needed theoretical basis for P/CVE narrative campaigns and approaches that are immediately applicable to CAN development and can support practitioners in creating persuasive narrative campaigns.
